Last week I was in NYC with my sister for a spontaneous girls trip. Luckily we hit a stretch of decent weather and were able to explore without trudging through ice & snow! I haven't been back East in over 4 years, needless to say, we had an absolute blast! It was incredible having an entire week to ourselves, being able to explore the city without business meetings, kids, responsibilities and schedules.
We stayed at the most adorable Airbnb apartment in the East Village. The unit was designed to the 9's, it was awesome staying in a home vs. a hotel, it really made us feel like a New Yorker- if even just for a week.
While we were there, we had no agenda. Just window shopping, exploring and wandering.
Exploring the villages and Soho were definitely highlights. High line part was still incredible even though all the plants were dormant for the winter.
And let's not forget our obsession with Momofuku. Yes, we ate there 2 days in a row.
Counting the days until we can go back! NYC we LOVE YOU!
